Haley "Moonshine" and Bethany "Sunshine" have been friends for over 20 years. They met when Haley was in Mrs. Pendl's second grade class. They spent their childhood climbing trees, camping, mucking stalls, and tormenting Haley's brother, Snot Muffin.

Maddie and Bethany met in college during Bethany's sophomore year. They became fast friends and lived together Bethany's senior year. After college, Maddie moved to Olean and took a job working for the same hospital as Bethany. She now lives in Allegany with her husband and baby boy!

Abi and Bethany met on move in day of college! Abi was in 303, and Bethany was in 307. They became friends instantly and were proud members of "The Blondies". They went on countless crazy adventures together in college, from camping, to wine tours, to random drives around the lake. Bethany loved cheering on Abi at her LAX games. The adventures have continued well past college.

Sophia and Bethany met in college. They were on the same cross country team all four years, but they did not start to get close until sophomore year. They roomed together junior and senior year. A few years after college, Sophia moved to Olean and lived with Bethany again! They continue to hang out weekly, going to dance classes, taking walks, or getting their margarita fixes.

Bret is Bethany's "cousin"! Her mom, Aunt Nettie, went to college with both of Bethany's parents. They have known each other since birth and have been on many wonderful adventures together. They love catching up and filling each other in on what has been happening in their lives.

Nate and Colton first met in 2017 when Colton joined the Hinsdale Fire Department. Nate took Colton under his wing, and they’ve been best friends ever since. They love road trips, discovering new restaurants, and the occasional bonfire — and they’re lucky to live just down the street from one another.

Zach and Colton met in the police academy in 2022 and went on to join the Olean Police Department. They've been lucky to work together—sharing shifts for several years. Off duty they swap ideas for house projects and enjoy riding four wheelers. Colton likes to remind Zach that he has seniority on him, although Zach is a Sergeant and has a decade of policing experience on Colton.

Austen and Colton have been friends since second grade — teammates, classmates, and partners in countless adventures. They grew up playing sports, sharing hobbies, and graduating together, then went on to work side by side at the police department for some time. Colton practically grew up at the Darcy house and has always felt like another member of Austen’s family.

Colton and Nicholai’s friendship stretches back to middle school, after Nicholai moved to the area—no single day marks its start, just years of shared memories. They’ve made countless trips to Toronto, and Colton still remembers the time he drove down to Georgia; together they turn every visit into an adventure. Nicholai is one of Colton’s closest friends, and a good phone call every once in awhile is all it takes to pick up right where they left off.

Although he could not be here in person to celebrate, Colton and Bethany wanted Bethany's older brother, Nicolas, to be a part of their day. He was Bethany's role model and protector growing up. He and Colton would have gotten along very well, it is only fitting that he is a groomsman.
